Timeline
The Startup Climate Action initiative contains four blocks to accelerate the creation and growth of your idea and startup: Ideation, Deep Dive, Test Drive & Accelerator.
You can participate in the challenge with an idea or without an idea. The platform offers matchmaking functionality to form startup teams. If you participate with an idea you can find your team members and form your star-quality team through the platform. If you participate without an idea you can browse ideas and request to join and contribute to the ideas that you find most interesting.

About
The Test Drive program is a pre-accelerator training program where you are given the tools to test and validate your business idea. Theory is mixed with practice where experienced entrepreneurs and experts inspire and help you stake out your path forward.
Sting has extensive experience from running Test Drive programs in a number of verticals, but this is the first time we have a dedicated Climate Action program and running it in collaboration with Norrsken.

Program
The program consists of four workshops that run in the evenings. Between meetings, tasks are given with individual coaching and mentoring from experts and experienced business coaches. It will be a hybrid online and on-site program. Teams not located in Stockholm will be able to participate remotely online.
The workshops run on Mondays 16.30-21.00 on-site at Norrsken House and online on Zoom, and the dates and themes are:
12 October – Startup Mindset, Testing Business Idea, Impact Assessment
26 October – Sales, Go-to-Market & Team Building
9 November – Financing, Value-Creation, Pitch Training
23 November – Grand Finale

In the final workshop – the Grand Finale on 23 November – all teams will pitch their startups in front of a jury, and the Top 3 Climate Action Startups will be selected.
Winner #1 will qualify directly for a spot in Sting’s Climate Action Accelerator that will run for the first time during Spring 2021.
Winners #2 & #3 will go directly to the “pitch-final” for the Climate Action Accelerator.
The top 3 teams will receive office space & membership at the Norrsken House for two months for 2 members per team and an invitation to the Norrsken Impact Week.
The top 3 teams get an invitation to Sweden Sustaintech Venture Day.

Program
The accelerator will be an on-site program run out of Sting's office in A house in central Stockholm. It will run for 4 months, from February to June 2021, and be hybrid in the sense that some parts will be physical while others will be run online.
It is possible for startups not located in Stockholm to participate, but at least one founder/key person in the team needs to relocate to Stockholm during the course of the program to be able to benefit fully from the support.
